I was informed yesterday that my child needs braces. I didn't think his teeth were crooked. The dentist informed me that it isn't crooked teeth he needs braces for but because his teeth are not aligned properly. If not corrected his lower teeth will continue to rub the back of his upper front teeth until they wear down and he will lose them. My son is 14 and I do not want this to happen to him. My husband and I both work and will put what we can towards it but there is know way we can get him braces on our own. The Orthodontic Records will be $175.00 up front, then there is a down payment for treatment of $630.00 before treatment can begin, then the remaining balance is $4000.00. A balance of $4805.00. If anyone wants to help we would be so blessed!!! I do not want donations sent directly to me but to the dentist office who will be taking care of his care. There are to many scammers out there and I would like for you to check it out so you know I am being truthful. I do not need to know your name or any info about you because if you do decide to help I will already know you are a person that has a loving and caring heart. Hi, a friend of mine has a missing tooth that needs dental surgery and braces to place the tooth and a very tight budget. He is currently attending college and cannot afford to be paying college tuitions and dental payments at the same time earing $8 an hour on a part time job. Hello, My Name is Christine, im 20 years old and live in New hampshire.  I have a 1 year old daughter who is my absolute world.  I feel rather selfish wrighting about what i need aid in on this sight but i just dont know what to do anymore. I've always had a problem with confidence.. and i almost feel like my life would change drastically if i had straight teeth.  I've always taken great care of them, but my two front teeth are indented pretty sevearly.  I want to be succesful for my daughter and my family, and i feel as thought i cannot get anywhere with my teeth being the way that they are, it's almost as though people dont take me seriously.  Everyone always says "oh they're cute like a little kid cute" but im 20 years old with a 1 year old daughter and i cant be "little kid cute" anymore.  Times have been so tough latley with money.. i work 6 days a week and no insurance will accept me and if they would they do not cover orthodontists.  I've searched everywhere for aid, or colleges with graduating students that would do it for cheap.  Maybe if someome could help me with finding a place in or around New Hampshire that would give me aid or do it for cheaper then 5600 dollars.  That would be the 1 thing i would want.  If anybody could help me in finding that, i would really appreciate it, thank you for your time.

My name is Erica and I am 27 years old. I am married with two children and pregnant with number three.  I love my children and my family and have always put anything that i ever needed or wanted for myself on hold because I know that my children would always come first before anything.  I have desperately needed braces since the age of 15 but came from a family that was very low-income.  I have always been self-conscious because I felt that I couldn't smile without people judging me.  Although I have always been told how "beautiful" I am, I never truly felt that way inside because I always had to hold back my smile.  I cannot remember that last time I showed my teeth in a picture and have become very resentful at the fact that I feel like damaged goods, simply because the world judges so much based on one's appearance.  I don't think that a lot of people realize what a blessing it is to just laugh outloud with out being consciously aware of what other people might be thinking.  I am very envious of those who smile with beautiful white straight teeth and feel like i am reaching the age where maybe it just might not be possible for me to get braces.  I only say that because even though both my husband and i work full time and i go to school, money only goes so far these days.  I have taken it upon myself to even write to orthodontists in my area to ask for help but have received no reply.  I would be grateful for the rest of my life to anyone out there that is blessed enough to help others in a great time of need.  I pray that one person is out there that really cares about the welfare of others.  Thank you to any of you that respond.

 If you are looking for braces, this might be an option.  This is not a dental insurance.  It is a dental discount plan.  They have several plans available to choose from.  Just a thought.....

Hello all, it's passed midnight and it's another restless night for me. I'm frustrated and feel helpless since I can no longer afford to pay for my daughters braces. She's going on her 4th month without the proper attention to her teeth. I'm a single parent of 3 wonderful children. I've been off work due to a disability for almost a year now and have struggled financially due to this unforseen injury. I've tried selling anything I have valuable in order to catch up with her monthly payment. So far I'm behind by $480. The orthodontist will not continue seeing her until I come up with this amount. I feel an anxiety attack coming on as I write this. I dont know where else to turn. Please if anyone can help, whatever amount I will be most grateful, as would my daughter. Thank you and god bless

Hello, I just want to start off by saying THANK YOU FOR READING THIS!!!I am 22 years old, I live on my own, and I have a 4 year old son. I am needing money for my teeth! I dont have any insurance, and can't afford to do the things my dentist wants. I went for an exam at Dr.Keefe Carbone's office yesterday because my teeth have been bothering me. I am needing about 6,000 dollars! I know its alot, and I know I wont probably make it on here, but its worth a try! I need xrays, I need 7 cavaties filled, I have crack one tooth in the back and need a core buildup and crown put over it before it starts turning into an abcess! Just that alone is 3,660 dollars. Im wanting the extra 3,000 dollars because I would like to get braces! so this is a health issue PLUS a girl needing a dream to come true!! a miracle! I have really bad teeth! My goal is to model. I have the body, however im lacking in the mouth area! I would be sooooo grateful for any donations! Its really hard being a single mother with a job that offers no health benefits!! and I have no help else where! Please please please!! help me out!! The braces is more a WANT - then NEED - BUT I DO NEED to get my cavaties filled - im suffering from bad breath, and senitive teeth - I would hate to be 30 and have no teeth at all =( thank you!!!

HELP!!!! I'm in desperate need for it since the orthodonist who did my daughters braces out of nowhere.......STOP TAKING MY MEDICAL CARD  i'm already on aid and section 8 and that was like my one blessing answered since i became pregnant with my third daughter. I hadn't been able to go to her appointments for a year because of me having my baby and my main way of transportation breaking down I had no one to watch my kids....... I know you might wonder why I didn't ask my parents but they have basically DISOWNED ME and my baby's daddy is in a wheel chair since he got shot in the very house i'm stayin in and I walk by the spot where he layed and still do EVERYDAY. So now I have nothing and my daughter really needs the braces so I callin out to anyone I've gotten over my pride and realize that this is maybe my only hope...I believe there is a GOD and he WILL answer my prayer    

My name is Courtney, and I'm nineteen years old. When I was younger, my parents could not afford to get me braces, and I am certainly paying for it now. My teeth are so crowded, uneven, and crooked that I cannot bear to smile. The crowding makes cleaning my teeth a difficult task, so my mouth is more than fair game for the cavities to crop up. The hideous state of my teeth has lowered my already low level of self-esteem. I've never had a significant other before, and I'm afraid I never will with teeth like this. No one will want me. I am disgusting. I disgust myself. My family is going through difficult financial times, and our dental insurance, well, we may as well not have any at all because it wouldn't make one bit of difference. I'm a college student, already in debt because of student loans. Thousands more because of my teeth, I'll be in debt until I die.

There is something wrong with a country that doesn't take care of its citizens. So many people go without healthcare, or don't go to school because they don't have the funds and never will. Who wants to be in debt up to their eyeballs? The whole thing's made even worse because this is the United States, one of the richest countries in the world.

All I ask is for some help, however insignificant, to make me smile again and be proud of it, to let me feel some semblance of self-esteem. As sad as it is, this world judges primarily based on looks, and I can't get anywhere in it looking like a monster.

LOOKING FOR HELP TO GET BRACES FOR  MY KIDS WE HAVE VERY LOW INCOME  AND I'M AN MOTHER OF 6 . I'M AN SINGLE MOM STRUGLING FOR HELP.

I am a 24 year old who has struggled all my life with my teeth.  I was raised by my grandparents, who couldn't afford dental insurance.  I am now married, with a 1-year old son.  We do have insurance, but it will not cover the cost of adult orthodontics.  I was teased all through school, and once I start speaking to new people, I know they are looking at my mouth.  I just don't want my son to be embarassed or have to ask why I look like "that".  I want to feel good about myself, and not constantly be self-concious.  I will need teeth pulled, a root canal, an several fillings...as well as braces.  I have always taken care of myself, and especially my teeth...but can't change my genetics.

My 14 year old nephew has a great need for braces and is currently covered by Medicaid.  He has four extra teeth in the upper front and would need those pulled.  It is impossible to find a dentist.  Can anyone help direct me?  We are located near Cleveland Oh.
